The storage of steel pipes is mainly due to the lack of coverings on the steel pipe body, the poor covering protection, and the lack of supporting columns. Part of the problem is that there are too many stacked layers. Most coastal cities have a marine climate, with large annual rainfall, high relative humidity, and water accumulation at the contact points between steel pipes. 1. Whether it is a bare pipe or an anti-corrosion pipe, if it is to be stored for a long time, it should be protected from the beginning of storage with opaque coverings to prevent the steel pipe from rusting and the anti-corrosion layer from brittle and warping.

2. The covering should be firm to prevent long-term sun exposure and rain from rotting (expression: rot; decay, metaphorically refers to the rot and deterioration of fallen leaves) and leaking. Special-shaped pipes have various complex shapes such as square, oval, triangle, hexagon, sunflower seed, star, and winged pipes.

3. When the steel pipe is covered, the surface of the steel pipe must be ventilated to prevent water vapor from evaporating and gathering on the surface.

4. When the steel pipe is stored, there should be support columns and a certain distance from the ground to ensure the ventilation of the steel pipe.
